Hello. I am Kim Young-taek, CEO of ZEROTECHNOLOGY Inc.
Over 12 years at Hyundai Motor, I led the localization of the fuel-cell MEA for the NEXO hydrogen electric vehicle and a world-first-scale MEA mass-production plant project, experiencing firsthand how hydrogen technology becomes an industry. What I confirmed along the way was clear — in water electrolysis, in fuel cells, in every electrochemical system, performance and cost are ultimately decided by one small component: the MEA (Membrane Electrode Assembly).
In 2022, I founded ZEROTECHNOLOGY with the goal of building that heart with our own hands. As Korea's only independent MEA specialist that has internalized the entire MEA process — from catalyst dispersion to the nation's largest 5,000㎠ large-area coating — we connect the production and use of hydrogen across five systems: water electrolysis (PEMEC·AEMEC), fuel cells (PEMFC), unitized regenerative fuel cells (URFC), and acid-base electrolysis (ABEL).
Small but solid — we have stayed profitable every year since our founding, proving our technology with world-class performance data and patents. Collaboration and joint development with companies, research institutes, and universities at home and abroad have made us who we are today.
